Bienvenidos! Welcome to Duo's Treehouse! We are a unique-to-Pittsburgh collaboration brought to you by Duolingo and La Escuelita Arcoiris, a nature-based, Spanish immersion preschool serving families in the 'burgh for over 25 years.
Duo’s Treehouse hosts week-to-week classes designed to ensure early learning tools and community resources are universally accessible for Pittsburgh families and children ages 0-5 years old, with their caregivers.

At Duo’s Treehouse our mission is to create a space that fosters healthy development for children and a supportive, enriching place for the adults who care for them.
Duo's Treehouse is a space for both children and caregivers to play and learn side by side. We encourage open communication, listening and respect to create a joyful environment where families feel welcomed and valued.
Our Approach
Emergent Curriculum
Student-led discovery and co-creation of knowledge! We'll provide the framework and your child's natural curiosity takes the lead creating meaningful, collaborative learning projects.
Creative problem solving
Explore freely with our art materials, dancing, singing, story telling, and space to problem solve! Creativity is given a place of honor in our program. Our materials are open-ended and allow children the chance to explore and interpret as they choose!
Dual Language Immersion
We provide a warm, engaging environment where children can listen, learn, and play in Spanish. We foster the development of a second language without the formal trials and effort of traditional language studies.
